We recently completed this content managed website (cms) for Aquila Shelters. Designed and built to attract more traffic and customers to the new website it also incorporates its own blog and boats amazing results within search engine rankings.
Aquila Shelters specialise in the hire and sale of permanent and temporary modular canopies for all outdoor events and activities. Aquila came to see MM late in 2010 to discuss how they could drive traffic to their website, increase the number of enquiries and generate more sales.
Setting Aquila apart from the competition was quite straight forward. mmdesign and Simon Harrison ( Sales Director for Aquila) sat down to identify Aquila’s unique selling point. Together they quickly realised that fundamentaly, Aquila shelters are the structures that bring together and unite groups of people. The beautifully designed iconic structures bring a sense of cohesion to every context in which they are used – whether that is in an educational context, business, retail, celebratory or any other type of situation where people need to gather.
Tim Richardson, Managing Director at mmdesign said:
“Once we understood what Aquila meant to it’s customers our job was to express and communicate this through the visual design of Aquilla’s website and all of their related communications. We needed to show certain practical elements like the infinite number of layouts that are possible due to the modular design and other practical things such sizes and pricing, but essentially the Aquila brand is all about making diverse out door events and activities work.”
Simon Harrison, Aquilla’s Sales director said:
“We chose MM because of their expertise in dynamic web content, branding and how to improve our position in search engine rankings. We were looking for a partner who we could trust and who would quickly understand our business. The way the team at MM was introduced to us and how they listened to our needs immediately demonstrated this.Working with our existing values, MM were able to take the seeds of an idea about how we wished to evolve, storyboard them out and build content & marketing materials in a way that really strengthened our brand. One of the most valuable achievements is the way they’ve supported us in managing a dynamic website ourselves so that we’re now very confident about taking our new E-marketing strategy to market.
In less than a month we migrated from a static ‘legacy’ site to multi-media content featuring daily updates, event management, video, case study download materials, news & blogs, links to our social media network, e-mail marketing and visitor tracking & analytics”.
